Join Tomaree Coastal Adventures in Shoal Bay for a four hour guided walk traversing the Tomaree National Park coastline.
Meet your friendly guide to depart along the Tomaree Coastal Track fire-trail before a short, steep, single-track climb (side-track) to the summit of Stephens Peak where you will be rewarded with stunning panoramic views of Port Stephens. After this they will continue along the NP fire trail through coastal dunes and forest to Fingal Spit; Departing Fingal Spit they will walk around the headland and back onto the Tomaree Coastal Track. Dependent on the tides, time and participant ability they may return the same way back to Shoal Bay or they can take the rocky coastline through to Paradise beach (changes difficulty to Demanding – see below).
Route will vary and be dependent on tides and swell.
Moderate level of fitness and coordination required. Expect undulating fire trail, steep single track, sandy beaches and dunes, rock scrambling and some stairs. Minimum Age: 10+ Years
