Part of the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage Area, Wollemi National Park has been a place of great significance to Aboriginal people for thousands of years. The spectacular landscape has been sculpted over millennia into a magnificent network of soaring sandstone escarpments, plunging gorges and canyons, winding river valleys and awe-inspiring geological features that shelter a rich diversity of plants, birds and animals.

Enjoy a tour by kayak on the stunning Cudgegong River, accompanied by a professional guide who will provide engaging commentary on the fascinating natural and cultural history of the area and its environmental significance. From the long history of habitation of the Wiradjuri people to the first European settlement, the notorious 'lady bushranger' and the incredible tale of the building of the dam that formed the waterway as it exists today, there are stories of interest for everyone.

Operating school holidays and weekends from September to April. Tours depart at 9:00am daily each morning during the operating season. Tour Duration is two - two and a half hours, and includes a short walk to the dam wall. Suitable for people of average fitness and mobility. Recommended for ages 12 years and over.
