Spend a day in historic Gundagai. Meet your Tour Guide from the Visitor Information Centre and head up the main street going past The Great Rescue Statue of Yarri and Jacky Jacky, passing historic buildings like the courthouse that was built in 1859, then enjoy a delicious morning tea at one of our lovely venues.
Onward to the Rotary Lookout to take in the vista of the surrounding hills and the Murrumbidgee River with a view of the town's Prince Alfred Bridge (built 1866) and other long bridges. Stop at the fully restored Railway Station and the Historic Museum which has a treasure trove of memorabilia before having lunch at the Gundagai Services Club.
The afternoon tour begins with a viewing of the magnificent Rusconi Marble Masterpiece, on display at the Visitor Information Centre. Say ''Hi'' to Dad, Dave, Mum and Mabel in the park adjacent to the Centre before boarding your coach for further exploration. Captain Moonlite's grave and a visit to the famous Dog on the Tucker Box will complete your day of discovery.
