Overview
The Un Named Cafe at the Wingello Village Store specialises in simply good food, great coffee and real breakfasts.
The refreshing country charm of the refurbished century old store provides a welcome break from a fast paced, busy world. Enjoy the taste of locally sourced food, made fresh while you enjoy a break in the spacious dining areas inside or outside the store.
The team at the store are a great source of local knowledge of attractions and nearby things to see and do. The newly upgraded Casburn Park is the best playground and pump track in the Southern Highlands. It's great being able to watch the children in the shade drinking a great coffee, then giving them a treat at the store with the longest traditional mixed lolly bar in Australia.
There is also the newly opened Wingello Forest Camp ground, making a great camping destination. Many campers love the option of camping with a short trip for a fresh cup of coffee and breakfast. Civilised camping.
The Stonemasons Trail begins in Wingello with the impressive carved Kenneth the Cockatoo, leading to all the stone animals caved by Ken McDonald scattered through the southern villages.
Larger groups should book ahead to ensure they get the best service.
