Join the annual Women in Sport Festival for a week of fun activities that empower young girls and women in sport.
An all-women lineup will rock the foreshore, alongside local sporting groups who provide you the chance to come and try a new sport – tennis, rugby, croquet or aikido.
The Try a Sport expo is designed to allow local community members the chance to come and try or get a taste of the sports on offer within Lake Macquarie. In addition to the expo, each of the sporting groups is hosting their own come-and-try sessions throughout the week, during which you can check out their venue, try a sport, and make a new connection.
