Yarrawonga Power Boat Spectacular and Fair

The Yarrawonga Powerboat Spectacular and Fair is back for 2025.

Hosted by Yarrawonga Mulwala Tourism and Business, Victorian Speedboat Club and in conjunction with Moira Shire, the Speedboat Spectacular is held over three days this April showcasing the world’s fastest circuit race boats which roar across the water at surface speeds in excess of 280 kilometres per hour.

This three-day event brings everything fast and thrilling including aerobatic stunt shows by Red Bull world champion Matt Hall, Thrill rides and amusements, Sideshow games, merchandise stalls, static displays food trucks, a licensed bar and of course the main event, the E.C Griffith Cup!

Boats can be of any design to contest the cup, as long as they are inboard and powered by a single automotive engine, with contestants coming to race from all across the country. Over the three days, a full schedule of races for a variety of boat classes will compete for the reigning winner's title.

With a long and proud history, this event is surely not one to be missed.
