With over 25 years of artistic practice, Zenadth Kes (Torres Strait) artist Alick Tipoti is widely recognised for his dedication to revitalising cultural knowledge and language.
Grounded in the traditional cultural practices of his people, Mariw Minaral brings together some of the finest examples of Tipoti’s distinctive and intricate linocut printmaking. The exhibition also features his acclaimed sculptural works, contemporary masks, and film.
This travelling exhibition is developed by the Australian National Maritime Museum.
