Immersive landscapes inviting personal interpretation and connection
Showcased at Peisley St Gallery in a vibrant regional arts hub
Overview
Fiona Kent is a visual artist who primarily utilises pastels but also diversifies into the inclusion of ink, printmaking, charcoal and collage, her work aims to provide opportunities for personal and global responses to the environment.
An absence of self or narrative is most usually omitted from any representation allowing the viewer to fulfil their own personal narrative and reactionary sense of self within the interpreted landscapes in response.
Through the visual exchange and exploration of colour expression, luminosity and mark-making, beneath the beauty and the ‘wild’ of the Australian landscape, or any landscape, there always lies hope for a less exploitative future and for everyone to find their connection to the land.
The Peisley St Gallery are thrilled to have a collection of Fiona's work for sale.
