Tamworth Country Music Festival
Tamworth Country Music Festival
One of Australia’s greatest music festivals, the annual Tamworth Country Music Festival hosts some of the world’s top country music stars. The pinnacle event of the festival is the Golden Guitars – the Country Music Awards of Australia. But you can also look forward to the buskers, entertainment and plenty of food stalls.
The Tamworth Country Music Festival is an ungated event of ticketed and free shows from 17 to 26 January 2025. Headliners in 2025 include Suzi Quatro, Kasey Chambers, Fanny Lumsden, Travis Collins, Amber Lawrence… and so many more acts.
Away from the main stages you can visit FanZone and get up and personal with some of country's favourite stars, or Family Zone where the kids will have the time of their lives with rides and attractions. Experience Toyota Zone, buskers, entertainment or browse stalls throughout the city centre.
Every year in January, the Tamworth Country Music Festival attracts hundreds of the world’s top country music starts, and thousands upon thousands of fans. Pull out your cowboy boots, and get set to dance your way through days (and nights) filled with unforgettable entertainment.
First round of show tickets will be announced on 3 July and on sale from 8 July 2024.
Check out Wests Entertainment Group, The Pub Group and Entertainment Venues websites to see what shows are on sale.
The festival is not gated so you do not need to purchase a ticket to attend. There are lots of free shows and events – thousands of them in fact, across the whole city. But… you can also purchase tickets to certain headline acts on the official website. If you want to buy them in person, during the festival, head to:
The Official Guide can be pre-purchased each December and is available at Festival HQ and selected newsagencies. Otherwise, head online here.
Yes, bring the whole family! The Tamworth Country Music Festival is a family (and pet) friendly event, with free concerts in Toyota Park (Bicentennial Park), the Toyota Country Music FanZone stage in Fitzroy Street, busking and live entertainment, there is something for all ages. Also check out the Family Zone, which will have rides, entertainment and more in Kable Ave during the Festival.
