The Port Kembla DIY Skate Park is closing up for a long overdue rebuild. The community is coming together to send the old park off in style and everyone is welcome. There will be Skate Demos, Prizes, Live DJ's and Food.
There's be an afterparty with a film screening and live bands at the Servo at 5pm.
The Port Kembla DIY skatepark is set for a transformation, thanks to the relentless efforts of its local community.
The community is invited to celebrate this milestone with the PKDIY Renewal Jam followed by a skate video premiere at The Servo .
“It’s crucial to commemorate the PKDIY space before its transformation. We are eager to collaborate with BighART to foster community spirit and drive positive change through their programs” added Will Mitry.
Supported by Big hART's Skate of Mind and Holy Pavlova, this event is giving back to the Port Kembla community.
