Your invitation to five classical concerts over three days specially curated for Four Winds, and performed by a superb and internationally acclaimed lineup of musicians. This varied program from Andrea Lam and friends will inspire classical lovers and newcomers alike, making this an Easter not to be forgotten.
Their closing concert begins with Golijov’s Tenebrae, which he describes as “an orbiting spaceship that never touches ground.” From this meditative start, we move to Song and Dance. After a beautifully curated set of Lieder, Bartók and Schoenfield carry us into a celebration of dance. Reflecting on this weekend of music, I am reminded of the power of music to inspire, comfort, nourish the soul, escape, and dream. Music is essential.
