The Cove offers self-catering accommodation, and is reached after a 13 kilometre drive through the rainforests of Booderee (Jervis Bay) National Park and aims to provide guests with a rare escape from the stresses of modern life.
The sound of the ocean replaces the noise of traffic, native wildlife abounds as kangaroos hop through the grounds and colourful parrots skim through trees. The backdrop is forest, not buildings.
The Cove offers one, two and three-bedroom self-contained holiday shacks as well as a larger house for bigger groups. Set within the Booderee National Park, just meters from the beach.
There are 15 cabins in total, plus the large house. The eco shacks are all fully equipped with linen, bath towels, cutlery and crockery and all open onto shaded decks, most with views over landscaped grounds.
Facilities include a communal barbecue area with pizza ovens, a function hall, a games garden with a variety of yard games, as well as direct beach access and a boat ramp.
The property is a 20-minute drive from Jervis Bay town centre and Hyams Beach. Jervis Bay Marine Park offers scuba diving, swimming, surfing, boating, and fishing and whale watching.
