Built over the sensitive ecosystem of mudflats and mangroves of Currambene Creek, Jervis Bay, the Huskisson Mangrove Boardwalk is located right next door to the Lady Denman Museum.
Stroll the 1.4km elevated path through Grey and River Mangroves, while keeping an eye out for local birdlife.
Twelve interpretive signs along the walk provide an insight into the unique ecology and cultural significance of the area, with seating along the path making the perfect place to take a break. At 1.8m wide, the accessible path extends out into Currambene Creek, offering views of passing boats, across to the trees lining Callala Beach and over to the Huskisson foreshore and Round the Bay Walking Track.
Parking is available off both Dent Street and Wollamia Road.
