Great Inland Way
Overview
The Great Inland Way is a highway tourist route that travels inland from Sydney to Cairns and Cooktown.
It is a 2,956 kilometre journey along fully sealed roads, and some of the highlights include: Sydney, Bathurst, Orange, Dubbo, Gilgandra, Coonamble, Walgett and Lightning Ridge in NSW, and Hebel, Dirranbandi, St George, Surat, Roma, Injune, Emerald, Charters Towers, Atherton, Cairns and Cooktown in Queensland.
