Overview
The Centenary of Federation Walk starts at The Great Cobar Museum and moves south around the Newey Reservoir where there is a great opportunity to view Cobar’s abundant bird life.
The track includes numerous interpretative signage that focuses on local flora and fauna as well as historical stories of our town. Nature enthusiasts will enjoy the quiet trail, taking in the pieces of information and surrounding bird life sounds.
Make sure you bring a bottle of water and walking shoes, it is approximately a six-kilometre round trip back to the Museum.
