This newly opened art gallery in Broken Hill is a delightful cross-cultural collaboration between established artists Dirk Romeyn who moved to Broken Hill from the Blue Mountains, and Brian Harris a local Indigenous artist and proud Barkandji man. The Shed retains its charm with the clever use of reclaimed and recycled materials.

It boasts a large public art mural painted by Dirk, a welcome addition to murals in Broken Hill, Australia's first heritage listed city.

Visitors will find on display and for sale a large range of paintings, drawings, prints, woodwork, handcrafted jewellery, gift cards, mugs as well as Indigenous paintings, carved emu eggs, didgeridoos, boomerangs, sculptures, carved bowls, and clap sticks.

The front sitting area with views to Sturt Park is a place to meet, sit and relax with an old fashioned cuppa and biscuit for a gold coin donation.
