The cottage is 1.2 kilometres from Sturt Park and the Titanic Memorial. It is opposite the Broken Hill Base Hospital and GP Super Clinic is within walking distance. The Tydvil Hotel and Broken Hills Gin Bar are within walking distance and just around the corner.
