Kooinda Farm is a serene 100-acre retreat, a harmonious blend of mixed native bush and lush orchard plantings, providing a perfect haven for campers equipped with their own amenities. With the exception of the woodland lakeside site, which features a toilet, there are no shower facilities on the property.
The site boasts two picturesque dams, ideal for kayaking and swimming, while the creek frontage invites fishing enthusiasts. Guests can savour breathtaking views of Yarrahapinni Mountain to the east and rolling hills to the west. Additionally, 40 acres of pristine bushland offer ample opportunities for exploration. The property is home to geese and ducks.
Guests have the privilege of selecting from various private campsites, ensuring an exclusive and undisturbed camping experience, either by the dam or the creek.
Drinking water is available from an outdoor tap at the farmhouse, its availability depends on rainfall. Campers are required to bring their own amenities and adhere to the "leave no trace" principle. A toilet dump point is located in Macksville, a 10-minute drive away.
Dogs are welcome, as long as they responsibly clean up after their furry companions.
Access is convenient, with a 1.5-kilometre single-track gravel road connecting to the Pacific Highway, accessible to all vehicle types.
