Come along to the inaugural Lismore Cycling Festival which includes racing, participation events, as well as 'Come-and-Try' events for children and adults.

Saturday's events include the two 'Come and Try' events including Cyclocross and a special junior's Crit-Cross followed by criterium racing on a closed street circuit around the Oakes Oval complex. All of Saturday's events are perfect for spectators to base themselves at Lismore's Sporting Hub for the afternoon. There will be vendors that include coffee and food, parking is available in the Harold Fredericks Carpark opposite Oakes Oval.

Sunday will feature Fondo events, which are for participation and are not about racing. with three distances for each ability including the Gran 110 kilometre, Medio 70 kilometre and Piccolo 28 kilometre.

As well as showing off the beautiful countryside, the event aims to provide an experience that shows cycling is for everyone, especially for short distances. The festival also aims to give back by raising money for a donation to the Rescue Helicopter Service in Lismore. This event is proudly hosted by Lismore City Council and Byron Bay Cycle Club.
