The small and protected beach of Shark Bay is on the south side of the Evans River mouth and below Razorback Lookout. There is a great stretch of sand here when the tide is out with the benefit of natural protection from a rocky cove. Enjoy a swim or clamber out the rocky shoreline.
Shark Bay is a popular spot for families and friends to gather around and enjoy picnics and barbecues by the river. Cooking facilities are free and the area is wheelchair friendly with a ramp onto the beach and up to the picnic shelters.
Access to the southern break wall has recently been concreted to allow access for all abilities.
