The Museum of Art and Culture yapang GALA is an inaugural fundraising GALA designed to celebrate and support the arts in Lake Macquarie.
The GALA will be held in the gallery's main exhibition space during the 'Like New' exhibition, a collection of recent acquisitions to the Museum of Art and Culture yapang collection. Funds raised through purchase of tickets will directly support:
The reimagining of the MAC yapang library/ lounge and community art space.
The 2025 MAC yapang Art Prize.
The Sculpture Park revitalisation.
This black-tie event will be hosted by writer and radio presenter Scott Bevan, and will include a sit-down meal, live entertainment and a silent art auction.
