Based on the music of Queen, We Will Rock You is set 300 years in the future in a futuristic and globally corporate world. A handful of rock rebels, the Bohemians, fight against the all-powerful Globalsoft company and its boss, the Killer Queen; they fight for freedom, individuality and the rebirth of the age of rock. Scaramouche and Galileo, two young outsiders, cannot come to terms with the bleak conformist reality.
It’s fun, it’s spacey, it’s written by Ben Elton, it’s Queen and it is pure escapism at its very finest. Bring your friends, have a blast and support our talented local thespians. Don’t stop me now, we’re having a good time! And Freddie would be proud.
