The first in a series of four free community events, open to all. This series is proudly being held jointly by the Dungog Clarence Town CWA and Paterson Allyn Williams Science and ideas Hub, and it highlights the achievements of accomplished, articulate and inspiring local women who can tell us something that we can take into our own lives.
Caroline Pidcock, local resident and CWA member, architect and designer, is our first speaker and will inspire us on how to design our best lives and best futures based on her 'Handprints' design framework. She believes that change starts with how we think about things. She has been thinking about the process of moving from where we are now to where we would like to be tomorrow.
Caroline holds positions with the Australian Institute of Architects (AIA): Chair - Environmental Design Guide Advisory Group, Co-chair - National Climate Action & Sustainability Committee. Caroline has served as NSW Chapter president and national director of the AIA. In recognition of her contribution to architecture she was made Life Fellow of the Royal AIA in 2006.
The talk will be followed by a Q&A then nibbles with inspired conservations in our historic James Theatre.
