There is plenty to see and do at Coolah Tops National Park. Gazetted as a National Park in 1996, Coolah Tops covers 12,117 hectares on a narrow plateau of the Liverpool Ranges. The area is very scenic, boasting several waterfalls and lookouts offering spectacular views over the adjacent plains that extend to the Warrumbungles and Mount Kaputar. There are especially fine views from the northern rim of the plateau. You can camp at the park or just visit for the day.
Park features include Norfolk Falls Picnic Area, The Barracks Camping Area, Coxs Creek Camping Area, The Pines Camping Area, Bundella Lookout, The Pinnacle Lookout, Basalt Caves, Breeza Lookout and Shepherds Peak.
