Mendooran Bed and Breakfast is a piece of history infused with Anna's genuine Italian hospitality. This 1905 homestead was once a crucial stop for Cobb and Co. travellers.
Anna and her family purchased the building 51 years ago, where it underwent modest refurbishments bringing it life back while keeping its old-style charm and character.
The first floor boasts nine simple yet comfortable rooms catering to various needs—single, twin-share, double, and triple accommodations. Six of these rooms extend onto a grand old balcony, a perfect place to sit as the sunsets. There’s no air conditioning but each room has a portable fan to help keep you cool during the warmer months.
The separate male and female bathrooms are shared by all guests. The upstairs guest lounge, with a Televison, is a great place to meet other travellers or enjoy complimentary tea, coffee, and biscuits.
Behind the building, there’s off-street parking and secure lock-up storage for bikes.
Start your day in the historic dining room, characterized by its 12-foot ceiling, where Anna's continental breakfast is a favourite among guests, especially with cyclists fuelling up for the day ahead.
Mendooran Bed and Breakfast invites you to step back in time and relish genuine hospitality.
