The Rutherglen Convent offers unique group accommodation in a thoughtfully-restored building that was once a boarding house, school and convent. Gracious, steeped in history and built circa 1927, the property is located in the heart of the Rutherglen wine-making district. Positioned within 550 metres from Main Street you will be spoilt for choice with cafes, bakeries, wine bars and pubs all within walking distance.

With its gothic-inspired architecture and old-world charm, the building is spread over two expansive levels with the ground floor featuring a formal entry, kitchen, laundry and 8 main rooms with soaring ornate ceilings, fireplaces (disused) and lead-light windows. The upper level accessed by two timber staircases offers 11 bedrooms, an original boarding house bathroom, four private bathrooms and access to the elevated balconies offering 360-degree views of the surrounds.

The ground floor also features an outdoor grassed area with gardens and rock seating surrounding a fire pit.
