Koondrook is a historic Murray River village where paddle steamers and river transport were a hive of activities in the early 1900's. Today the riverfront of Koondrook has been developed to support the growing tourism industry.

The Koondrook Waterfront includes the internationally award-winning wharf, the meticulously restored Goods Shed, operating historic Arbuthnot Sawmills, Goanna Walking Track, playground, boat ramp and links to the redgum footbridge and Koondrook Retreat.

The waterfront also includes a section of the Koondrook Barham Redgum Statue River Walk, a unique walk including 20 redgum statues carved by chainsaw.

The waterfront is welcoming to visitors and located in easy walking distance to enjoy a great meal or drink from the Long Paddock Food Store, Mate's Royal Hotel or the Koondrook General Store.
