If you’re a Roadie, come too, it’s still good and there are plenty of quiet roads on offer.
Biking the Bland offers 9 cycling tracks of various levels of difficulty or distance within the Bland Shire. Uninterrupted space as far as the eye can see with plenty of interesting sights and dirt roads that stretch on for ever. It’s a maze of intertwined dirt roads that link the farms and vast spaces around the central hub of West Wyalong / Wyalong. Start peddling on one road and keep going until you have cycled the entire shire and completed all 9 loops and travelled over 1400 kilometres.
All the rides start in the centre of West Wyalong and return to the start point in the main street. Ride an entire loop or part of it depending on your fitness and ambition. When you get back you can enjoy all the accommodation, food, and entertainment on offer in West Wyalong and Wyalong.
While some of the distances may appear daunting, there is little elevation to contend with – its flat! It truly is a cyclist's dream.
