Hazeldean is a fifth and sixth-generation family farm located 22 kilometres west of Temora and 14 kilometres east of Ariah Park, just off Burley Griffin Way. They run Australian White sheep, have a few horses (including two clydesdale mares) and grow cereal and canola crops.
Visitors will be given a guided tour of the Pioneers Cottage full to overflowing with family furniture, collectables and memorabilia dating back to the late 1800s. The Hut contains a collection of early 1900s bathroom and laundry items and two large sheds that house impressive collections ranging from sulkies, wagons and carts to horse drawn farm machinery, shearing, dairy and farriers equipment in use in the early 1900s.
A look through the on-farm train carriage accommodation may also be available if they do not have guests at the time of your visit.
The rambling country garden containing over 200 rose bushes, established trees and a water garden provide a shady spot to enjoy morning tea or the dining room is available in inclement weather for morning tea or a light luncheon.
Available for groups with a minimum of four and a maximum of ten.
