Tommaso Girotto Classical Guitar

2025 Braidwood Concert Series' Summer/Autumn program launches with a wonderful classical guitar concert by Tommaso Girotto.

Tommaso performed in Braidwood with FONIX ensemble in 2021 - one of those rare concerts that wasn’t COVID cancelled! His superb technique was already evident then.

Now he returns to Australia after years performing and studying in Europe with some exceptional classical guitar masters. In 2021, Tommaso was accepted into the Accademia Chigiana Summer Academy where he studied with the late renowned guitarist, Oscar Ghiglia.

He then studied under the tuition of Lukasz Kuropaczewski at his International Guitar Workshops in Poland in 2022 and 2023. Tommaso completed a Master of Music at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz - Köln under Goran Krivokapić. He has been a placed finalist in international guitar competitions, such as the Istanbul Classical Guitar Competition and the Adelaide International Classical Guitar.
