The Scotch Malt Whisky Society comes to Orange for the first time, with a very special whisky tasting “The Grand Tour of Scotland”.
Join in for a wonderful, entertaining evening of whisky discovery and appreciation as you explore a wide and diverse range of very special single malts from all corners of Scotland. These are Scotch Malt Whisky Society bottlings: Cask-strength, single cask, single malts with no chill-filtration or colouring, bottled straight from the cask — not available commercially, and unlike anything you’ll find at your local bottle shop.
Your host for the evening will be Andrew Derbidge — Chairman of the Society and one of the country’s most knowledgeable and entertaining presenters with over 25 years in the industry. He’ll take you on a journey of flavour and a virtual tour of Scotland and its distilleries as you taste your way through the many different styles of single malt whisky on offer.
This event will appeal to all lovers of Scotch whisky — from beginners to experts, there’ll be something for everyone; some delicious spirit; a wee bit of education; and a lot of laughs. Book in now to avoid disappointment.
