The view from Mt Lindsay Rotary Park has been preserved through the sensitive placement of buildings that sit below the ridgeline and allow views to the West of Mount Canobolas. The elevated position of Rotary Park also glimpses to Suma Park reservoir in the East.

The view is significant as there are limited opportunities within the region to view the city as the foreground of Mount Canobolas. During Autumn and Winter, the view reveals the variety of exotic canopy trees planted throughout the city due to their seasonal colour change.

The park has been used to publicise the great work of the four Rotary Clubs of Orange. Past members of Rotary have plaques mounted in a special Remembrance Wall. At least once a year members attend a function at the park to celebrate the work of their past members.
