Conversations with Banjo: A Play by Geri Brown and Mark Oates

Banjo Paterson is one of Australia’s most beloved poets and storytellers. Conversation with Banjo allows an intimate glimpse into the relationship between Banjo and his grandmother, Emily Barton. During this evening, they share their love of the ‘music of words’ and the many influences and ideas present in their poetry. The play reveals the man behind the legend, his passions, his struggles, and his inspirations.

An after-hours event in the Hillside Harvest shop, the evening begins with the opportunity to ​mingle with friends and family, whilst enjoying a seasonal charcuterie board and a glass of local wine. Then take a seat and let the story begin.
