Canowindra Baroque Music Festival

Baroquefest is an annual three day, five concert music festival held at venues in and around Canowindra in Central West NSW. Now in its tenth year, music has been performed by one or more visiting ensembles who spend the weekend in Canowindra playing for, and dining with about 350 festival goers each year, many of whom are regular attendees from Sydney, Canberra, Blue Mountains and elsewhere.
While music is centred on the baroque era, musicians may touch on the classical and romantic eras and even relate their interpretations sometimes to more contemporary works.
