Short Sheep Winery & Farm

Short Sheep Winery & Farm are a boutique small wine-making operation just outside of Mudgee using sustainable wine-making practices for small batch runs.

They use only grapes grown in the Mudgee region. Minimal intervention techniques that respect the fruit character are utilised and their babydoll Southdown sheep are not for eating but for cropping the grass under the vines, thus avoiding the use of equipment.

They show visitors their wine-making techniques, discuss their sustainable methodologies and offer samples of their products.
