La Loft is a miraculous mix of heritage and modernism. It’s an extremely unique and high-quality home full of periodic features perfectly blended with a contemporary extension. Looking at the facade of La Loft, one can only associate it with a country cottage. It is indeed well preserved with the original fireplace, kitchen, bath and bedroom. They were built at the same time as the historical landmarks in town such as the Council Chamber, Post Office, Pubs and Library.
Kudos to the artist who restored this heritage property with additional modernism at the back of the original house. One will be surprised and overwhelmed by the breathtaking contemporary design of the new house attached to the original country cottage.
