Merah North

Merah North is located 73 kilometres from Narrabri on the Kamilaroi Highway in North West New South Wales towards Burren Junction and Lightning Ridge.

It is an agricultural district, with its main crops being cotton, wheat and broad acre crops as well as cattle and sheep.

Merah North has a wheat silo and is home to the Namoi Cotton Gin. Cotton Ginning takes place at Merah North from April to August depending of volume produced in the area .
