Culgoora

Culgoora is located between Narrabri and Wee Waa, approximately 25 kilometres West of Narrabri in North West New South Wales. An agricultural area, it is known for its cotton, wheat, cattle, sheep and general grazing.

Visit the Australian CSIRO Radio Telescope, six 22-metre wide dishes running along a set of railway tracks or enjoy water sports and yabbying at the beautiful Yarrie Lake. A three-kilometre expanse of water, it is home to 70 bird species and is an excellent picnic spot.
