Boggabri lies 57 kilometres southeast of Narrabri and 40 kilometres northwest of Gunnedah on the Kamilaroi Highway.

Home to Nelson's Honey, the largest supplier of honey in New South Wales, it's a town predominantly supported by agriculture and sits on the edge of rich coal deposits in the Narrabri and Gunnedah Shire.

Take a stroll down Boggabri's main street, Boggabri Tractor Shed or maybe Boggabri's Historical Walk around town. The Boggabri Museum is also a place to trace Boggabri’s evolution, housing ever-changing exhibits of precious memorabilia, past and present.

Boggabri is a small town with a big community spirit and a unique country lifestyle. Boggabri is also famous for it's award-winning Boggabri Drovers Campfire weekend which sees the town host 400 to 500 caravans, motorhomes and camper trailers in April for a weekend of campfires, delicious camp oven meals, whip cracking, shearing demonstrations, tours to local attractions, antique machinery display, local craft and markets, night entertainment with skits and live music, and a chance to get to know each other and the friendly locals.
