The natural health-giving waters that flow into the Pilliga Artesian Bore Baths have been doing so for well over a century. This facility is found just East of the village of Pilliga along the Pilliga Road (approximately 56 kilometres from Wee Waa/sealed road).
There is no charge to enter the Bore for a day visit.
A fee does apply per site per night for the primitive campground which is RV friendly. The maximum stay at the campground is four nights.
Facilities include a toilet block and cold shower electric barbecue, and shelters. A roof covers the pool area, and it has lighting for nighttime bathing. There are also parking areas for caravans and motorhomes.
The water temperature is about 37.1 degrees Celsius and many people come to bathe in them for therapeutic value.
A very popular recreational activity. You can call and visit the Pilliga Pub or Pilliga Cafe for a beautiful meal.
