Celebrate Seniors Week with a spectacular, free concert featuring the Royal Australian Navy (RAN) Band! This special event showcases two of the RAN’s premier ensembles in a musical experience that promises to be unforgettable.
Based out of HMAS Kuttabul in NSW, over 30 talented musicians from The RAN Sydney Wind Band will take the stage. This impressive ensemble presents a diverse repertoire, from stirring marches and traditional military band pieces to contemporary works and popular hits—all accompanied by exceptional vocalists.
Adding to the excitement, 18 members of The RAN Sydney Big Band will join the show, featuring some of the Navy’s finest jazz musicians. With a dynamic range that includes everything from traditional swing to modern big band, these musicians have collaborated with legends like James Morrison and Guy Sebastian, ensuring a performance filled with rich, captivating sound.
