When the owners discovered the cottage, it was broken and derelict. Over four years, they painstakingly restored it, paying attention to all the historic and beautiful imperfections this grand old lady had accrued over her 130-year lifetime.
They decorated it with love, using objects and furnishings from all over the world, and brought it back to life, to be celebrated and enjoyed by those who find pleasure and wonder in staying at a place steeped in history.
Their home away from home, the cottage has since been carefully curated with fine linens, sumptuous textures, and interesting collections—the way they like to stay when escaping from the rat race.
