The Wyangala Fireworks and Bonfire Spectacular is an annual event, beginning in 2012, and now draws an estimated 4,000 visitors made up of Wyangala Dam locals, neighboring townsfolk, and visitors that have traveled the distance.
Held at the Matt Morrison Oval Sunday of the June long weekend, this community event is made possible by the amazing Wyangala Fireworks Committee volunteers, and the generous sponsorships and donations of the community and local businesses.
A range of activities take place throughout the day, including 9 hole ambrose golf, kids putting, lawn bowls, live entertainment and more! Food stalls are available in the afternoon prior to the bonfire being lit, and the fireworks display. Please note that the majority of vendors are cash only. An ATM is available at the Wyangala Country Club if required but please come prepared with loose change.
