The village of Woodstock is now sleepy town , home to a number of heritage-listed sites, including the Woodstock Railway Station, Walli Memorial Hall, Woodstock Hotel, Woodstock Convent Building and Woodstock Soldiers Memorial Park.

Woodstock and surrounds are a wonderful area where you can see fields of gold. The bright yellow canola crops are spectacular when they flower against the green spring fields.
There is generally a 4 week window usually around September in which the canola crops are in full bloom with bright yellow flowers.
