Geebung Trail

30 minutes from Bathurst in the Wambool Nature Reserve. The Geebung Trail makes up one of the 2 main walking trains that visitors can access. This trail will take about 30-45 minutes one way but can be looped with the Wambool Trail via the Link Trail. With over 50 species of birds and a range of native flora and fauna within the reserve there are plenty of opportunities for bird watching and wildlife spotting.

      Slight downhill trail, easily completed by most.

    This trail runs for 1.5 km south along the reserve, with a slight downhill incline for most of the trail. Estimated to take 30-45 minutes one way tot he trails end, the Geebung Trail can be looped with the Link Trail and Wambool Trail for a 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minute walk. With an abundance of local flora and fauna this trail is a great way to get out bird watching or nature spotting.
