This Australia Day, reflect, respect and celebrate with events across the Bathurst Region.
Join the Bathurst community in welcoming new citizens at the Citizenship Ceremony at 9.30am followed by the Australia Day Awards at 11am where the achievements of significant locals are honoured. Both events will be held at the Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre with light refreshments provided. All community members and visitors to the region are invited to attend and help celebrate the morning.
Afterwards, cool off at the Manning Aquatic Centre with free entry from 11am, pool inflatables, games and a barbeque lunch, or explore the villages and enjoy a free barbeque and community event at Wattle Flat.
