Tennyson King is an award-winning, nomadic, folk musician from Hong Kong and Canada with an especially jovial stage personality. While most of his songs are in English, he shares his love for Chinese culture on stage through stories and music in Cantonese and Mandarin, while he pairs electric and acoustic guitar with Zhongruan. His reverberant, punchy songs and humorous stories of life on the road have captivated audiences from Canada, Australia, Mainland China, Hong Kong, the UK, the USA, and also at notable festivals across the globe.

He recently performed at Glastonbury Festival, with numerous accolades including Vocalist of the Year at the MARTYs, Tennyson is recognized for his musical prowess and song writing. If you’re looking for the place where your soul can be wild and your heavy-heart assuaged, then follow the sound of Tennyson’s crisp, warm voice, as he plucks an electric chord and hammers out a beat on the kick-drum, a true Chinese Canadian indie folk nomad.
