Book into the Luxe Ocean Suite at Tumbling Waters Retreat near Stanwell Park and you’ll be treated to your very own saltwater infinity pool – it’s also accompanied by a heated plunge. The suite itself, ideal for pairs, has sweeping ocean and rainforest views, large open-plan living spaces and a handmade marble bath. Also on the property, though not swimmable anymore, is a heritage-listed ornamental pond. It was originally built as a pool in the 1930s, and during rainfall creates a spectacular waterfall.

Whether it’s just the two of you or you have the whole family in tow, Zensi Retreat has incredible options for a wellness-infused getaway on its sprawling Mudgee property. Groups of up to 10 can book The House, an architectural marvel that has a large pool on the deck, along with a sunken firepit and your own private spa and sauna.
